Certain car park construction methods are at a higher risk of cracking or crack in service resulting in failures of the existing, typically unreinforced waterproofing membrane. In these circumstances, the structure will require a waterproofing and surfacing solution designed to withstand cracking and the dynamic movement associated with car park structures.
The dynamic crack bridging, EN 1504-2 certified Triflex ProDeck features a highly innovative, ultra-high tensile strength membrane which distributes loads from cracking evenly across the deck surface to prevent cracking in the waterproofing membrane itself. This unique, heavy duty system offers a durable, cost effective solution for the waterproofing and surfacing of new-build car park decks and ramps primarily featuring pre-cast construction and those decks with existing extensive cracking. Triflex ProDeck provides a best value solution that protects the structure, satisfies health and safety requirements such as slip and skid resistance and enhances aesthetics for maximum visual impact.
Unique, high tensile strength, fully reinforced membrane
Triflex lead from the front. Featuring a unique build-up combining ultra-high tensile strength Triflex ProMesh reinforcement with our advanced resins the Triflex ProDeck system delivers a totally waterproof solution. Where local movement is anticipated to be very high the system can be further locally reinforced with our Triflex ProPark membrane.
Cost effective with fast installation
The unique system construction is designed to be quick, easy and economical to apply, offering best value for a fully reinforced, dynamic crack bridging car park waterproofing and surfacing system.
Tough and durable protection
The demands of even the highest trafficked, highest space change rate car parks are no issue for the highly traffic, impact and load resistant wearing layer and durable surface finish used in the Triflex ProDeck system. The system is unaffected by ponding water and is resistant to chlorides (road salts), carbon dioxide ingress, petrol, diesel, brake fluid, engine oil, battery acid, and de-icing and cleaning products. Protection that's built to last, with a low lifecycle cost.
Tried and tested
Triflex ProDeck offers a complete waterproofing and surfacing solution for both new-build and refurbishment projects that will last for years to come. The system certified and tested to the highest UK and European standards, with numerous successful installations across Europe
Rapid curing, cold applied system
Exceptionally fast curing, Triflex enables car parks to remain open during installation, limiting access restrictions and unnecessary disruptions. Installation can be carried out all year round and the system still cures quickly at temperatures down to 0°C. Ramps and critical areas can be completed overnight and opened the next morning. There is no risk from hot works during installation as all of Triflex materials are applied in a totally cold liquid form, quickly curing to create a solution that lasts.
Historically many car parks have been protected with traditional asphalt coverings which over time will fail. With more than 30 years experience of directly overlaying in excess of 1.5 million m² of failed asphalt car parks, Triflex are the industry leaders and Triflex ProDeck is particularly suitable for areas subject to significant shear forces.
The system offers high levels of long-term skid resistance in wet and dry conditions, providing a secure and safe solution for both vehicles and pedestrians.
Safety and environmental
Our solvent and isocyanate free resin technology has been assessed under BREEAM principles and can contribute to A+ ratings. To minimise environmental impact the majority of the resin components are also supplied in recyclable bulk containers.
