The 1,576m² flat roof to the main school building featured a felt and asphalt waterproofing system that was beginning to allow water to ingress. If allowed to continue the water could potentially cause structural damage to the building and pose a health and safety risk to the school, the pupils and staff.

Sledmere Primary School in Dudley, West Midlands has recently undergone a further Triflex roof refurbishment. The school, previously familiar with Triflex solutions, required a solution that would solve their water ingress problems whilst bringing the roof standards up to meet the new Building Requirments.

This school was in need of urgent renovation due to the existing mineral felt and asphalt waterproofing failing, this was allowing water to ingress into the classrooms, kitchen and dining hall below.

The University of Birmingham required a rapid and easy waterproofing solution for one of the Halls within the campus. The solution must have almost zero disruption to their students’ day.

Primer for Triflex SmartTec only for bituminous substrates to eliminate bitumen staining/bleeds.

Triflex Cleaner is used with Triflex products for substrate pre-treatment, degreasing metals and cleaning tools.

Finish for Triflex roofing systems and walkway, balcony and terrace systems.
