Meadfoot beach chalets

Following a condition survey, the beach chalets at Meadfoot were identified as reaching the end of their useful life and required urgent repairs. Torquay Council concluded that these repairs were uneconomical, and took the decision to demolish them and replace them with a new two-storey complex consisting of 133 chalets.
